Auschwitz: 70 Years Later

                                                                         Auschwitz
                                              70 years Later

 I just finished watching on History Channel an hour long special about a Auschwitz Survivor named Kitty Hart-Moxon.70 years ago on January 27th, 1945. First it takes a lot of courage for someone to return to a place that was filled of such devastation and where horrific inhuman acts against people happened. She took two 15-17 year old girls with her, because she wanted to show them how she was living when she was 17 herself. So imagine being a teenager.. when most fun things are supposed to be experienced in life.. but you couldn't because you were in a Concentration Camp...
  She talked about how her brother fled to Russia, but was asked to fight with Poland, and he was killed while fighting. So it was only her mother, father, grandmother and herself. Priests would forge documents for people. But this led to her family documents being found to not be true. They were arrested and taken to Auschwitz, there was a Firing Range Execution (this was when the SS would line the people up and just shot to kill, many died this way). She was told that they would not be killed and sent to life in prison.
 She discussed how late is was at night when they arrived at Auschwitz, and that her and her mother were talking about the smell in the air at Auschwitz...and asking why they would be cooking chicken so late at night. ( I mean we're all smart here people...it is probably safe to assume we know what they were talking about).
 The men, women, elderly, woman with children were immediately separated. The women with children and the elderly were taken to the gas chambers right away. If a child looked strong and healthy they would not send them to gas chambers, instead keep them for hard labour. She goes on to say that once that separation was done they were taken away and stripped of everything. Clothes, jewellery, shows, and had their heads shaved. The people were given clogs to wear, and a bowl (which was used for not only their food, but also to use as a toilet- Now.. imagine the fact that they would have to use a bowl they eat from to go to the bathroom in....and not be able to clean it properly...FIRST: THEY SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAD TO GO THROUGH ANY OF THIS AT ALL IN FIRST PLACE....ESPECIALLY THIS USING THIS BOWL FOR THESE 2 THINGS!!). The SS just didn't care...NO one, except for the survivors will ever know what they had to go through, but to know that other human beings....just didn't care....it infuriates me, it makes me so mad at humanity...HOW DARE THEY!!!
 They were stripped of all they had left in life and given a tattoo...a number...that's what they had left was a number on their arm...no identity.....no name....just a number.
 She goes on to talk about how they had to resort to animal instinct. They had to get away from the predators and those that would kill them. The sheds that they lived in were made for 52 horses, but were filled with 1,000 people each....Mud was everywhere-there was no grass.. if they found grass, they ate it. They were starved and overworked, and a lot of people would collapse and die and other people that were in the camp would have to move these bodies and just piled up on top of each other.
 The next time we all think "If I don't eat soon, I'll just die..." just STOP yourself and think about what the people in Auschwitz went through.
  "Selection" happened all the time, everyday. Where the guards and SS would just take people and kill them. There was a place called "KANADA" where all the belongings- suitcases, clothes, shoes, jewellery, money, etc would be put, and some of the people in the camp would be ordered to go through everything and sort it, they had a quota to fill-if you didn't complete it you were punished. if you were caught taking any thing you were killed. They used money they found within the belongings as toilet paper.
 By 1944 all four gas chambers were running at their full capacity. People were "herded" into the gas chambers. Once in the gas chamber they were told to hang up their clothes and coats, because they would get their clothes back. Which was a lie, because once they were in there an SS would put a gas mask on and throw in the gas. Kitty said that all you could hear was the screaming and crying from the people in the gas chambers and within twenty minutes nothing....silence....and they knew those people would not be returning....they were in fact murdered.. After this the SS guards would go through the bodies and ashes to look for anything the people might have ingested (like jewellery) and take it. Then their ashes were put into the pond in the back of the buildings. She said that the pond is their cemetery, is their final resting place.
  Her mother and she were let go...they were transferred to the main camp and from there were put on a cattle truck and let go. They then had to go through six more camps before they were finally liberated.

Them, alongside with others being liberated was such an amazing thing to happen, however.... They all then had to come to terms with everything they have lost. Their Families, Friends, Homes, Personal Belongings, and Their Souls....and they had to attempt to have go on and live their lives.

Imagine having everything you have in life...including you identity....who you are...your soul even....taken from you, and to be put through such horrific situations and watching those around you suffer. For anyone who survived this, I applaud you.

Her story: Should be a reminder to all of us, that is DOES NOT matter what colour your eyes, your hair or your skin is...WE are all human. WE all have hearts, minds and souls....and THIS is what should truly matter!!!

Thank you for reading....
Please comment, link it, send it around...WE need to STOP hating on each other even 70 years later!!

American Horror Story Season 5...The Rumors Are Flying...

American Horror Story
Season 5

SO hearing that there will be a season 5 is really exciting for us AMERICAN HORROR STORY FANS!!!

As soon as I saw that there was going to be a season 5..let me thinking...What on earth are they going to do with it. We've had a Haunted House, Asylum, Coven and FreakShow...

So as I skim through the numerous articles surrounding all this, there were some apparent photos taken in black and white of a farmhouse, and cornfields...not too sure who sent these out though. but also reading that Ryan Murphy has said that every season is connected together...

I love how when a new season is confirmed they really keep it a secret until it gets promo'd...they love us speculating about the next season...lol...but that's what makes it a great show.. they leave us in the dark until we need to know...

My thoughts: If this farmhouse-which was Kits house in Asylum- if they go that route it could be a alien theme.
But also some things have been said about chemical testing and nuclear testing.. which I personal think is a way better idea for AHS right up their alley.
If you think about it.. It reminds me of Hills Have Eyes(remake) where the guy goes to rescue his baby and stumbles across this huge crater in the dessert full of abandoned cars(cuz the People of the Hills took the people from them)
The Government used to do that sort of testing in the desert. build fake homes and stuff and test nuclear bombs to see what would happen to civilians...better question how fake was it? Has any ever come forward saying that the government tested on them in the desert?! See leads to HUGE Conspiracies..lol...

But I personally think American Horror Story should do a chemical/nuclear testing season!!! I have a million ideas for what they can do with it....any one know the writers of AHS...ha ha ha!!

What do you think Season 5 will be??
Let me know...

American Horror Story Season 4 Finale

American Horror Story
SEASON 4 FINALE
{My overall rating for Season 4 would be 5 Creepy Crazy Twisted Clowns Out of 5!!!}

So last night was the season finale of American Horror Story FreakShow.
Now American Horror Story pushes a lot of envelopes (if you don't know what that means..it just pushes boundaries) I only truly have a few favourite shows on TV, and American Horror Story (ALL THE SEASONS) is for sure in my top 3. I like a show that pushes these boundaries, because I find that there is
FAR TOO MUCH CENSORSHIP ON TV!!

American Horror Story doesn't shy away from that! And I love it for that. The fact that it has material that could offend people should go to show that yes they understand people would/could get offended, but also that they are not going to HIDE it, and they're going to show it no matter what-WHICH I ALSO LOVE!!

This season was FreakShow- I loved this season because it really tells viewers, that all of us-on some level....are freaks, we ALL have something about us that others may or may not physically see that we as people would consider freaky! I have never been a judgemental person-I don't believe in judging someone based on...well anything! I believe we are ALL ON THIS EARTH for a reason, if its to be on a show called Freakshow to hopefully teach people that-Yes there are different people on this World, but they do not deserve to be judged at all!!

-May contain spoilers from this point on-
Now...I have to be honest...I really didn't like Twisty...he REALLY freaked me out....and as anyone who knows me....NOTHING freaks me out!! (I totally give credit for me not being afraid of things to my ability to NOT JUDGE)
But Twisty...well he for sure gave me chills, and really creeped me out....And Dandy...well he was NO help with that...LOL...
Dandy-Going all crazy and killing everyone there...I was really surprised at the first 20 minutes, they really started with a bang! But the revenge the survivors took was pretty sweet..cuz lets be honest-----Dandy Deserved It!!
The ending was bitter-sweet. I thought maybe they would do something SUPER Crazy...Cuz it is AHS..but in a way IF this is truly the last season for JESSICA LANGE, then I think they did a classy good-bye for her!!!
Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, and Kathy Bates Are Queens, and Legends, for them to be on this show is absolutely amazing!!

According to some internet "sources" Season 5 will be this year! But what will they do? Anyone know? Anyone have any guesses? Leave me a comment!

Don't People Understand How Hard It Is??

Don't People Understand How Hard It Is...

So I have been trying to get out there more and more on the social networking, I've been on Facebook for a long time, only been on Twitter for little bit over a year...and I am actually getting a lot traffic on those, I am getting noticed a little more in the past couple days on Google+...Which is great because when you first start one of these things it can be scary, frustrating and intimidating...main reasons for that:

You start to feel....
A) You feel like no one cares what you have to say,

B) You feel like everyone can read but not make any comments on anything, especially when you are talking about personal life stuff.

C)You begin to feel like "Why this person's, and that person's....so why not mine?"

D) Then you find yourself looking up new and interesting ideas for your blog to get it noticed which I know how that has sounded, BUT others can offer some really good advice...and slowly but surely (Not over night---so don't get your hopes up) you will get noticed...people will read but maybe they have "no comment"...or they don't know what to say...get used to that

After a while you just have to let that all go and do what you want...not everyone has to like what you say or do...as long as you like it...that's really all that matters. And at the end of the day you write something that you have held onto personally and put it out there for ALL to see...
BE PROUD of that...

Remember...... Baby Steps....It'll Happen

New Year....New Experiences Needed

My Little New Years Poem
Happy New Years one and all,
I hope you all had a ball;
So lift your glasses in a cheers,
To starting new memories in the coming years!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
January 4/2015
Yup that's right another year has come and gone, we are now into 2015!! I am excited for a new year, but come on....Where on Earth did 2014 go???!!!
As many of us do, I look back on the past year, and wonder what did I do to make things different for myself...I came up with....NOTHING...
So I have decided to make the best out of 2015....I am going to try new foods, read a book I've never read before, do something different every week. I am hoping that come this time in 2016 I can look back and say "Wow I did so many different things"
I think so many of us go through life doing the same things everyday. And I need to for sure make a change!!! I'm sure many of us do!!
So please join me in a challenge to: Do something different....Make a change for yourself!!!
Try something you have never done before....Eat a new food that you have never had before, Read a book you haven't read before, watch a TV show or Movie that you haven't seen before, travel to somewhere you have never been before....
Start small...try something 4 times in 1 month...thus try something new each week, we all can spare a few minutes to do something new(if you don't...then that can be something you can change for the year 2015) then try to do something different twice a week....
Please let me know what your challenge is and what your results were...I look forward to hearing from everyone!!!
Chronic Pain: A Life Changer
Chronic Pain: A Life Changer My Story
{Part 1}
This is my story, my accident, my personal struggle. I agree about how positive thinking can affect a person's mentality, but telling someone to always think positive when they might not know the nitty-gritty of it all can be very frustrating for the sufferer of pain, disease or illness. I hope that my own personal account of suffering with Chronic Pain will shed light and bring awareness to people. Help Me to get the word out there to the world!!!!
CRASH BOOM BANG CRUNCH!!!
All I see is two cars coming towards me. I can only think 'I'm gonna get hit, I'm gonna get hit'. My entire body went into complete shock mode. I gripped that steering wheel like there was no tomorrow. My next thought was 'Oh God what do I do?!?' I all of a sudden remembered what my Dad thought me about accidents, and tried my best to follow that.
Both cars were flying towards me. I felt so powerless to stop everything from happening. One car spun out and ended at the nose of my car parallel to me. The other car came barrelling towards me....towards my door, I knew right then that it was going to hit me directly...I was so terrified...It managed to skim right beside my door and hit the back passenger side, right by the gas tank, the car then went directly between my car and the car behind me (destroying the front end of the car behind me) and ripping my back bumper completely off. She ended up on the shoulder of the road.
The next thing I remember is looking around and I couldn't believe what just happened. Debris was everywhere, glass, metal , my bumper....
My first accident, Never thought it would happen to me. I've always been such a careful driver. But it did, it happened and it has changed my life forever.
I called my mom to tell her what happened, I called my amazing friend Jenn (who luckily happened to live just down the road) and told me to get to her house and have my mom pick me up from her house. She is such a great friend, once I got to her house and was telling her everything that happened, I was talking a mile a minute but she picked up on everything and was able to get me to calm down a bit. I was still extremely shaken up and freaking out but I was able to get a bit more calm, due to her. I owe a lot to her!!!
It has been 4 years 5 months and 13 days since it happened and it has been such a huge struggle to make it through. I have never experienced this kind excruciating pain before in my life.
My neck was stuck straight, I could not move it at all, it even hurt to think and blink. I could not move my arms from my body, I had to use my right hand to hold my left arm up and place me hand on the wall just to get dressed and put deodorant on. My back was in so much pain everywhere, it wasn't in just in one spot it was EVERYWHERE!!!. My lower back, middle of back, upper back, and base of my neck, it radiated all the way around to the sides of my body and my ribs(they felt as though they were going to explode). I had to walk with my knees bent because I could not stand up straight and walk, I couldn't bare any weight on my ankles and when I stood up it was very noticeable that I was leaning forward and to the right slightly. That was how horrible it was for about a year. I saw my doctor and he diagnosed me with a rotator cuff strain/sprain in my left shoulder (which made sense with me having to use my other arm just to support my left side when I got dressed and put deodorant on). However he couldn't figure out why my entire body was reacting the way it was.. meaning why it was all over my body. After close to the 6 week mark and after quite a few Physio sessions, still in horrible pain everywhere and not feeling any better was when my doctor diagnosed me with Chronic Pain....
Yup that's right...Chronic Pain.... All I could think of was....."Shit this sux!!!" and then "Now what?"......
Thanks for reading
~M~
Stay tuned to find out what the NOW WHAT is!! Its NOT pretty!!
In my upcoming BLOG, entitled: Chronic Pain: The Nitty-Gritty Truth (part 2)
Please: If you or someone you know is suffering with chronic pain please share your story, I would love to be able to meet more people who feel stuck and trapped like me, and to get the word out about chronic pain so that health care professionals and governments can get a REAL understanding of what it is truly like.
Marine Land Trip 2014
Marine Land Trip
My family and I recently went to MarineLand in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. I was extremely excited to go simply because A: It was a family trip
                                               B: Haven't been there since I was a little girl
                                               C:Over the years I have heard some really bad press regarding the
                                                   the treatment of the animals at Marineland, so me being a huge
                                                   animal lover and animal advocate since I was a young girl. I
                                                   wanting to see the animals for myself.
We went on a Sunday, and it was not crazy busy there, so that is a bonus. There is a lot of walking around the park so if you plan on going, be prepared for that.
I am a huge advocate for people having the freedom of speech and opinion, so I went with an open mind.
1st: We saw the Dolphin, Bulga Whales, Seals and Wally the Walrus. It was jam-packed, The animals seemed to actually be happy, I know how that sounds, but I did not see anything physically wrong with them and they seemed to be happy to do a routine, all in all they put on a really good show, well trained and what looked like getting a lot of treats when before and after they performed. The tanks were bright blue-meaning the water is extremely clean.
2nd: We hit up the kids rides...a lot of adults were actually on the kids rides, a lot of the kids rides seemed to be based on the adult version of the ride. The rides were actually quite fun especially for kids, I think it makes them feel grown up in a way.
3:The food and drinks are a bit pricy, but the food that we did have was really good.
I saw that the water that the whales, bulgas, dolphins, seals, were in were really clean and big, I was surprised at how large the whales tank was, now it is not an ocean, no, however it is pretty big, same with the bulga's tank, quite large..
There is an extremely large area where you can go and feed Deer, that was so cool, they are surprising soft animals. Also you can go and feed the Bears. They have such a huge habitat.. its massive.
{The Deer Area is way bigger then in this photo}
 {Bears habitat goes far to the right also}
Giving people the chance to see these animals was great. I am not a fan of keeping wild animals and if it were up to me I would free every mammal, animal fish, sea creatures, however, being in Marine land and seeing where and how they are living, I do believe they are being well kept. For most of us, we have seen the news about Marine land. That news seems to be old news and it does seem like the animals are happy and healthy, from what I saw. If they were still doing things wrong....umm It would not be open {everyone would know that}.
PLEASE NOTE: I am only one person and I am entitled to my own voice and opinion, that being said I can not make a person change their thoughts, but I would encourage that anyone that has any doubts of Aquariums, Zoo's, Animal Parks, Animal Petting Zoo type places, to go and see them for yourself. Make your own judgement, DO NOT BASE HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT SOMETHING BECAUSE OF ONE PERSONS OPINION, OR BECAUSE HE/SHE MAY HAVE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Go and investigate it for yourself...Im not just meaning Marine Land but all Zoo{of all types}, Aquariums also....Please be your own judge about something!!!
I do not want to hear any nasty, negative, rude comments, I appreciate everyone's views and opinion, but when you start dropping nasty words, or name calling...that's NOT appreciated
Thank you for Reading!!
Remember....Be your OWN judge!!
